The Procurement Executive will assist Procurement Specialist in all procurements and tendering to be conducted in TransPeshawar. He will be responsible for the proper up keeping of all procurement records as per standards.

Key Responsibilities

The position of Procurement Executive has its primary responsibilities:

• To assist in conducting all procurements from initiation till conclusion of contract and maintenance and presentation of procurement record as per requirement of KPPRA. Handling of complaints as per mechanism prescribed by KPPRA.

Key Tasks

• Assist in preparation of Annual Procurement Plan and prepare updates as and when required
• Assist in preparation of bidding documents using KPPRA and other relevant templates;
• Assist in Identify potential contractor/suppliers though pre-qualification and other methods prescribe under relevant procurement laws and rules;
• Assist in conducting pre-bid meeting and recording and dissemination of minutes of meeting;
• Assist in preparation of addendum / corrigendum if required;
• Assist in receiving and closure of submission of bids, and upkeeping bids in a safe custody;
• Assist in preparation of bids’ opening templates, receiving, opening and initial assessment of submitted bid as per provisions of bidding documents for ascertaining completeness of bids;
• Assist in evaluation of technical and financial bid in accordance with prescribed evaluation criteria and terms and conditions of bidding documents;
• Assist in preparation of Bid Evaluation Report for approval of competent authority;
• Assist in maintenance of complete record of procurement and contracts both in hard and soft since initiation till contract closure for reference and future utilization;
• Assist in maintenance of procurement data base according to official requirements and sending to quarter concerned;
• Assist in redressal of complaints as per mechanism prescribed by KPPRA.
• Ensure all reports, documents are adequately advertised in print media / hoisted on the websites of TransPeshawar and KPPRA;
• Keeping track of procurement events and important dates;
• Other task as assigned by the procurement specialist/management.

Position Requirements

16 Years of education in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field from a recognized university.
Minimum of two years’ post qualification experience in procurement/project administration/supply chain management.

• Proficiency in MS office;
• Strong reporting and communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to deliver reports and agreed actions in a timely manner.
• Credible, and comfortable in dealing with management, line agencies, general public and other stakeholders.

• Age below 30 years.
• Fluency in English and Urdu would be an added advantage.
• Good health, allow to work long and irregular hours (when required).
