TransPeshawar & Safe City MOU Agreement

TransPeshawar and the KP Safe Cities Project have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen surveillance coordination and enhance public safety across Peshawar. The MoU was signed in the presence of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, by Dr. Syed Murtaza Asghar Bukhari, Chief Executive Officer, TransPeshawar, and DIG IT Ijaz Ahmad, Project Director, KP Safe Cities Project.

Under the agreement, live CCTV feeds from the Zu Peshawar BRT system will be integrated with the KP Safe Cities Integrated Command & Control Centre, supporting law enforcement through enhanced situational awareness, crime prevention, identification of wanted suspects, and improved emergency response. The collaboration also includes data sharing and the installation of advanced surveillance cameras at selected BRT stations.
