The Communication Executive will be responsible for assisting Communication Specialist TransPeshawar in day-to-day official tasks and assignments. In addition, he/she will be responsible for internal and external communications, strategy, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events in consent with Communication Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

The position of Communication Executive, TransPeshawar has its primary responsibilities:

  • Assist Communication Specialist to develop and implement an effective communications strategy and plan based on our target audience.
  • Assist Communication Specialist for responding to complaints/inquiries on Prime Minister`s Portal, helpline, social media etc.
  • Customer dealing and resolution of complaints on ZU Help Line
  • Assist Communication Specialist in writing, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other IEC material that communicates the organization’s activities, products and/or services.
  • Assist Communication Specialist in timely responding to media inquiries, arrange interviews, maintaining digital and manual record of all print, electronic and social media reports.
  • Assist Communication Specialist in seeking opportunities to enhance the reputation of the organization, and coordinate events as required.
  • Preparation of press release and handling of social media platforms of TransPeshawar
  • Maintain complete records of Print/Electronic and Social media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
  • Proficiency in Urdu typing (In-Page) and design and publishing software.

Any other tasks assigned by Communication Specialist or TransPeshawar.

Position Requirements



16 Years of education in Mass Communication/ Journalism or relevant field from a recognized university.


Minimum of 03 years post qualification experience in strategic communication/journalism in well-established and renowned public/private organizations.



  • Excellent communication skills, including social media and multimedia skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English, (written, oral, comprehension) including highly developed drafting skills. Fluency in the main language(s) of the country in question is highly desirable.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential), and experience of working with multimedia tools (i.e. broadcast and video or radio technology, social media).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver reports and agreed actions in a timely manner and within budget,
  • Demonstrated ability to take responsibility in accordance with sound management principles
  • Credible, and comfortable in dealing with management, line agencies, general public and other stakeholders
  • Empathic communicator, able to work with a team and see things from the other person’s point of view.
  • Well-presented and business-like.
  • Experience of handling of PM Portals complaints will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of challenges faced by field operations, problems of implementing programmes and constraints of negotiating with local authorities and persons of concern.


  • Age below 35 years.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu, Pashto would be an added advantage.
  • Good health, allow to work long and irregular hours (when required).
