OVERALL ROLE:
Reporting to the Manager Communication; Videography Executive focuses on overseeing the creation and implementation of video content and graphic materials used across the transit network for communication, branding, education, safety, and training purposes. The role ensures that all visual media aligns with organizational branding, supports public awareness, enhances user experience, and communicates operational information effectively to the public and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position of Videography Executive has following primary responsibilities:
1. Video Production & Supervision
- Supervise the planning, scripting, shooting, and editing of all BRT video content including awareness campaigns, safety instructions, promotional videos, documentaries, and social media clips.
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders/departments to ensure timely and quality content delivery.
- Oversee production of in-bus video announcements, informational videos for terminals, and emergency alerts.
2. Graphic Design & Branding
- To do or supervise the design and creation of all static and animated graphics used in printed materials, LED displays, screens, social media, and public campaigns.
- Maintain consistency of BRT brand elements (logos, colors, fonts, design styles) across all media.
- Review and approve all graphic and multimedia content for quality and accuracy from senior management of the company.
3. Content Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing teams to plan campaigns, awareness drives, and public education materials.
- Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts aligned with BRT’s values and goals.
- Manage a content calendar to ensure regular and timely production of media assets.
4. Team Supervision & Coordination
- Engage with relevant officials for video editing, motion graphic designs etc.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
- Liaise with external vendors, freelancers, and production houses as needed.
5. Equipment & Software Management
- Ensure proper maintenance and usage of production equipment including cameras, lighting, audio systems, and editing suites.
- Stay up-to-date with industry tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D tools if applicable.
- Recommend software or hardware upgrades and manage procurement requests.
6. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure all visual content complies with organizational standards, accessibility guidelines, and local regulations (e.g., language, inclusivity).
- Maintain an archive of all video and graphic content for future use.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- ATTAINMENTS
QUALIFICATION
At least 12 Years of Education from a recognized college/university with hands on experience on video content creation, photograpny, and video shooting.
Specialized Training – Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics (After Effects), and graphic tools (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Active affiliations – membership of recognised Industry or Professional Organisations.
EXPERIENCE
At least 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience with proven portfolio of video production and graphic design work.
- CORE COMPETENCIES
- Ability to visualize scripts and plan the flow of visual content
- Strong sense of color theory, typography, layout, and composition
- Ensuring all visual content aligns with the BRT system’s branding guidelines
- Converting data (e.g., ridership, routes, safety messages) into engaging visuals
- Knowledge of 2D/3D animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D)
- Understanding camera operation, lighting, and framing for shoots (even if outsourcing filming)
- Knowledge of Syncing voiceovers, background music, and sound effects with visuals
- CIRCUMSTANCES
- Fluency in English and Urdu. Pashto will be considered an added advantage.
- Good health, allow to work long and irregular hours (when required).
- Age up to 37years on the closing date of applications.
